SWRes Rosin Esters

SWRes rosin esters are glycerol or pentaerythritol esters of refined rosin, supplied as pale-yellow, transparent solids with low odor. They exhibit high thermal-oxidative stability, excellent aging resistance and broad compatibility with a wide range of polymers, delivering marked tackification and balanced adhesion/cohesion performance over extended temperature excursions.

The grades are specifically designed for formulating with SBC, EVA and polyolefin matrices in packaging hot-melt adhesives (HMAs), pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) and hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives (HMPSAs), as well as with isocyanate-functional polyurethanes in reactive moisture-curable hot-melt systems (PUR-HMAs).
